Urban Crafter Casting Resin for Moulds Kit 2:1, 6Lt (4Lt + 2Lt)

Working Time: 50-60 minutes

Max Pour Depth: 50mm thickness per pour
MIXING INSTRUCTIONS:
- Measure 2 parts A Resin with 1 part B hardener in a clean container (disposable recommended)
- Slowly mix it together until absolutely no swirls can be seen, making sure to scrape the sides and bottom thoroughly for approx. 5-6 minutes.
- For colour, add in pigments and stir until thoroughly mixed in (optional)
- Ensure surface is dry and dust free, slowly and evenly pour into the cast
- Carefully using a butane torch or heat gun 20cm from the surface, sweep the heat source over the resin to remove air bubbles.
- Allow to cure in a dust free area for 24 hours. The optimum environment temperature is 23 degrees. Cures in 24 hours and hard cure in around 4 days. Temperatures under 20 degrees will slow the curing process. Curing can stop at 15 degrees. Temperatures above 25 degrees will accelerate curing too much, leading to cracking, and shrinking. Avoid working in high humidity. Resin can be sanded and polished after fully cured.
SAFETY DIRECTIONS
Always wear safety glasses and disposable gloves when mixing and pouring resin. Avoid breathing vapours. Work in a well-ventilated space. Always return the correct cap to each bottle.
FIRST AID:
DO NOT induce vomiting. Give a glass of water. Wash off skin in warm soapy water. In case of eye contact, flush with running water and seek medical advice from the poison’s information Centre Australia 13 11 26.
